Looking

– for a mesmeric fellow –

Holds may be finally time
You fix mesmerical place,
While aging state inclines
Must allow a guess to face,
Worthy façade’s story lines
Wants find liable to follow,
When soon will depict sign
That yet may end be hollow,
Lest one chances new assign
Would fit a mesmeric fellow!

Living Alive

        – worth for the while –

It takes a while
To finely realize,
You’d been asleep
Oblivious to alive,
Whilst ye be replete
For an apposite revive,
Ought so find entreat
Be of worth for the while,
Thus as acquiescent treat
Fixates so to be living alive!
	                 ode to still being alive…

A Trio of Poetic Echoes…

Listen to audio

Frivolity

The commodify,

Of laisse faire

Speaks of oddity,

To find fly an affair

Taken with frivolity!

Façade

You find look

Be oppression,

Beyond brook

Of expression,

Despite its façade

Charts blindly sad!

Conscience

You are aware,

Yet knowingly

Without care,

Tho insentience

Finds admittance,

Of a conscience!

“ Butterfly, Butterfly ”

                        – fluttering bye –

Butterfly, butterfly

Leisurely floating

Dressing the sky,

Fitfully dancing

Shifted by currents

In breezes on high,

Ever so pleasing

You thus advent

Gently trapezing,

Yet softly you fly…

Butterfly, butterfly

Fluttering bye

Your beauty defies,

Wonder exemplified

On wings so grand,

And of such splendour

To make rainbows pale,

In light of your colours…

Butterfly, butterfly

When summer is low

Too soon you must go,

So where will you fly

To bring life elsewhere,

That offers but sorrow

When you leave our sky,

Butterfly, butterfly

Alas but oh why,

Must your beauty then die!

A Butterfly ode to they who diligently

work to prevent the extinction of

                                                            fellow creature, the Lepidoptera…

“ If Only ” – I’d known when –

If only

       – I’d known when –

If only

I’d known when,

To tell you

What I should,

Words that spoke

Of feelings then

Were misunderstood,

We might’ve found

To comprehend,

There came a point

That our affair,

Bore signs of thinning

Despite alluded tend,

Rather than beginning

Had started at the end!
