Blunder, Bar and Bond

– be notions of life -Blunder

Blunder

Plagued we are
By yet another,
Held gone too far
Be trying blunder,
Tho per chance par
There ne’er be other!
Bar

By raising the bar
To reset your goal,
You exceed by far
A weakening hold
That could so mar,
A bid to live whole!
Bond

Incline assume
The gods so tend,
Bonds we groom
May bear a friend,
With they in whom
Affection finds send,
A life ye want to bloom!

“ The Almighty Time ”

– the god to whom mortals pray –

A prerequisite is to be friends,

And so of our Almighty Time

Held we the naïve would tend,

Ne’er fall short to toe his line

Or fail not err that so offends,

To suffer alas its cruel assign

As this god an ultimate killer,

On a whim may find consign

Ye now be but mortal sinner,

Piteous to the Almighty Time,

The god to whom mortals pray

Tho fated their peace of mind,

Ever so far from extended stay

For an apathetic god sees deign,

If The Almighty Time gives way!

“ A Distant Presence ”

            – stored in old memories –

I feel a presence

Ever distant,

Lurking

In my memory,

Probing

Unrelentingly,

To surface

Above reticence,

Ne’er forgotten

Be one’s musings,

Despite a dying voice

Caught in the shadows,

Of a haunting choice

Stays a distant presence,

Stored in old memories…

I feel its existence

Lamenting regret,

Of relic adolescence

Did tend to forget,

One’s life so harried

Time be left scattered,

Yet held little matter

Amid memory’s embers,

Despite imploring pleas

Woefully entreating time,

On symbolic knees

Ought allow to remind,

Before the while be no more

Than a haunting memory…

Tho still I hear whispers

Of a lingering voice,

Must be the patient soul

In its life’s awoken choice,

Holds stored in old memories

That of a distant presence!

“ If Only ” – I’d known when –

If only

       – I’d known when –

If only

I’d known when,

To tell you

What I should,

Words that spoke

Of feelings then

Were misunderstood,

We might’ve found

To comprehend,

There came a point

That our affair,

Bore signs of thinning

Despite alluded tend,

Rather than beginning

Had started at the end!

“ Wouldn’t It Be ” ~ wonderful ~

Wouldn’t it be
Marvellous,
Should we abide
We opt on side,
Reason decides
That feelings be,
As fate devised
Not self-absorbed
Or tend one sided,
Rid of overdrive
Thus so guided,
To fix on wouldn’t be
Anything but wonderful!
