Looking

– wide eyed –

Holding a thought
To ponder its worth,
Sagaciously ought
Ye honor its birth,
Be erudite sought
Observe held bide,
Thus not be fraught
Looking wide eyed,
As tempted to flirt
With fool’s divide,
Tho find to divert
The while lets slide,
Implies shan’t avert
Held fixed be last ride,
Shan’t so flaunt its worth!

                         Ode to inevitable fading memory...

Looking

– for erudite thought –

While eager to find
Endures be sought,
Said sanguine time
For erudite thought,
Abides one inclined
By inspired epoque,
Wants trust defined
Composed as ought,
Optimistic assigned
Tho may’ve sought,
To acquire consign
Decidedly brought,
Save deviate minds
Shall suppress not,
Hide merit in kind
Held as calculus lot,
Seek Einstein design!

Looking

– for perceptive thought –

Looking
For perceptive thought,
That questions
Worth of one sought,
Thus, so to being sown
In fashion so be not forgot!

“ Don’t Stop ” – for egoist thought –

There’s a part of us

That will not stop,

Tugged by the other

With egoist thought,

On all that matters

Of living life sought,

As an ultimate factor

Would dissertate not,

What the other fosters

Said vantage together,

For what soul bought

And so found garner,

As life’s integral state

Should now discover,

Be of dubious grace

Soul can but borrow,

Of ones meagre space

Held bogus of equity,

Amounting to nought

Put aside the self-pity,

With brief time’s allot

For extent it shall hold,

That may ne’er realize,

Dream of eon time bold

In life borrowed implied…

Yet want part of don’t stop

From newborn to grow old

Hence want reaching till dust!

“ Years Moreover ” ~ before the dark ~

I’ve sought living

Years moreover,

As man’s dream

Be time wanting,

Leaves me plead

Ne’er be enough,

Though I concede

Years so far lived,

Holds clearly best

Be time life gave,

Save so ascribed

A morose grave,

As destined site

Fixed be man’s fate,

Thus beg stall plight

For score or more,

Before the dark,

Becomes eternal night!

ode to friend Basile, now in eternal night…

“ Uncertainty ” ~ a state of mind ~

Be reasons fraught
Of matter not forgot,
That perches now
Upon my brow,
Hiding mind’s frown
For it so sought,
To not have caught
Reflections of a sort,
Memory so defined
Meant for abort,
Best left behind
As be points mute,
To image words
Would substitute,
A state be mine
Ceased to give weight,
Upon such thought
Found to provoke,
Beyond the where
Resides no hope,
And self deception
Ignores one heed,
Life breathes uncertainty!

“ Years Moreover ” ~ and the sum of them ~

I sought living

Years the more,

Of them the sum

Secures encore,

For score or two

Not ne’er enough,

A pardon due

Leads me to plead,

Not waive the stuff

Of years one lived,

Chance be my best

Of time life gives,

When soon to rest

Hold years ahead,

Not played as test

For idling dead,

When all ‘tis left

Means but to pass

Expressly fast,

Begs added score

To get it right

Before the dark,

Be my eternal night!

“ Free ” ~ to find escape ~

I’ve sought free

More than I be,

To find escape

Of loner’s hold,

And so embrace

A thought to find

Should that I lose

My fettered mind,

To gain full taste

Before I waste,

View to opt fully

For the unusual

Of non-concentric,

While living free,

Where liberty be

In a world lost

To wasted tears,

And ravaged rain

That offers pain,

To line the path

Of finding free!

“ Hue and Cry ” ~ issue of man inhumane ~

I can but agonize

To suffer hear,

The hue and cry

Of ill-fated fear,

Held to defeat

Alas for naught,

By callous minds

Who would deny,

One having sought

Humane recognition,

In effort to attain

For animate self,

Yet made bear pain

While greed feigns blind,

To disperse its stain

From ill gotten gain,

Issue of man inhumane!
