Solitude

               – be coexistence –

Moot be strife

In solitude,

A carve of life

That negates

Platitudes,

Be coexistence

With oneself,

A quiet distance

Gives credence,

To relinquishing

A social imitate,

Finding release

From conformity,

For a timely taste

Of anonymity,

Said tranquil pace

Of held composure,

Be worth reaching

Without disclosure,

Tho cause to choose

A further exposure,

Save less so bemused,

One opts to visit solitude!

Music – In My Solitude, by Duke Ellington’s

“ Social Values ” ~ suffering fixed line ~

Words need find

What explains best,

To wayward minds

Ethics to express,

Suffering fixed line

Of modus interest,

In archaic social values

That fails to admit

The painful confusion,

In societal empathy

Held hand me down

Slanted sympathy,

Be but nationalistic abide

Of atavistic coeval apathy,

In which exclusion survives!

“ On The Run ” ~ to find a stead ~

On the run

From place

To place,

I search ahead

For space

Might be akin,

To the images

That populate

My spent head,

With a life spin

Of purpose clear,

For I’ve but left

A meagre stay,

And far too near

Be Reaper Grim

To dog my way,

Hence I hold run

To find a stead

Of lesser haste,

Afore fate ends

This journey’s race!

“ Man In the Dark ” ~ a grand creation ~

Man self portrays

As creature grand,

And self anoints

Be greater hand,

For fellow beings

To so command,

An axiom event

Mankind to face

As a human race,

Be sobering thought

Held question begs,

This notion stark

Of bogus intention,

Whose grand creation

Keeps man in the dark!
