“ Seeing ” ~ what you get ~

What you see

Is what you get,

If memory held

Be yours as yet,

Hence till you see

Be not the same,

After time shades

A memory’s claim,

And what now seen

Be but a thought,

That too soon fades

To near forgot,

Thus seeks reprieve

From sight in shame

While you suffer grieve!

“ Solaris ” ~ in shades abyss ~

Sun must be shy

As he’ll not look

Me in the eye,

Nor will he soar

As had before,

We ruined his sky…

He may ne’er more

Want light our way,

We who fouled

His heaven’s air,

Spewing waste

Corrupting space,

Once known safe

In a world gone grey,

As Solaris fades away…

Alas the keepers

Have ignored,

Desperate shouts

Of world untoward,

Solaris suffers

Shades abyss,

Thus can but move

To light another place,

Leaving shadows

Till dark be  fate,

Would end mankind

Starved of Solaris face!

“ Illusions ” ~ shades of confusion ~

I’d imagined

Feeling free

Mesmerically safe,

From illusions

In shades of confusion…

While illusions fade

In hues adrift

Of our imaginings,

Some adorned

Of jagged thorns,

Veiled in silken traps

Linger on perhaps,

Yet others lie hid

Propitiously borne,

Laudably worth a bid!

“ The Telling ” ~ or shades thereof ~

The day we find

The telling free

Who we so be,

Might it be worth

More than a tout

Meant so to judge

What we’re about,

Or shades thereof

Thus by the telling

Of me to you,

And you to me…

If I should tell

And you as well

Quite candidly,

Would we so be

Reduced to suffer

Who once were we,

Thus friends in spite

In candid light

We chose so to decipher,

Be likely cause to shudder!
