The While

– ye be around –

Yet of no say
Best to seek,
A kindly day
Evades bleak,
For the while
Life has ye be,
In need of smile
To maybe see,
If not to hear
Hint of sound,
Suggests know
Won’t confound,
With not to show
Nor will respond,
Save to oneself,
As for the while
Be good or bad,
Without beguile
That ye’ve found,
Will go the mile
Or way around,
In the time it takes
While above ground,
For a life’s short state,
Man termed, the while!

I Awake

I Awake

– should fate so will –

That I awake
Another day,
To live a fate
With little say,
Save to amend
My errant way,
Before the end
Thus to renew,
As to contend
Said life anew,
The while fend
As destine wills,
But a scant stay…

Time tallies still
Tho be few days,
For failing gods
Now dated skills,
Tend fall behind
Too aged to fulfil,
In garbled minds
Verge on placate,
Yet decreed still
Our waning state,
Hence so fate's will!

A Place

– said earth –

Tho crave
From birth
To grave,
For worth
Ye want save,
A place
Said earth,
Now must skirt
To suffer waste,
Tho be alert
Of mans tricks,
Ample so to burst
A planet at risk,
Not find accept
Failed mortals akin,
In state of gorged excess
Hides yet a desolate grim,
Obscuring a need for address
While mans memory grows thin,
As he begs for too long ignored access!

Painting A Mind

– shadows dark –

Be hollows stark
Painting a mind,
In shadows dark
To survive time,
Be need of world
Best ne’er blind,
As creatures we
Given short line,
Expecting future
Soon fades offline,
Will want a tutor
For make believe,
Set as fake humans
Be computer achieved,
Save a life’s meagre race
Holds no reason to grieve,
With compos mentis in place
Ye ought find painting a mind
Seeks not dark shadows embrace!

A Wandering Man

 – seeks a longer while –

He wanders about
For trenchant life,
But without doubt
Save eonian strife,
Fixes a sure bout
As afore afterlife,
Be willing to wait
A progeny clever,
Till ye find place
Visualizes forever,
That allows placate
For no reason ever,
This wandering man
Seeks a longer while,
Thus, so to find whole
With but copious guile
Might delay growing old!
ode to forever young of spirit…

Whatever Happened

Whatever Happened
- to what’s his name -
Tells of a social game,
In whatever happened
Be to what’s his name,
Or view face of whom
As recall slowly came,
Via beacon so illumed
For its curiosity’s aim,
That might’ve implied
See to be but so and so,
May hold a worthy ply
Save ‘tis another trope
Put to what’s his name!
Ode to the face of reality…

A Space

– held in awe,

be our planet earth –

 ‘Tis a space,
 Held in awe
 Our planet earth,
 A place we crave
 Thus so we may,
 From birth to grave
 Tho be fates play,
 One you can’t save
 Nor meant we stay,
 On its passing wave
 We’ll not want stray
 Tho holds your breath,
 With its waning taste
 Wouldst suffer death,
 To extend embrace...
 Held in veiled guise,
 Tho bares one’s face
 Who finds will hide,
 Said man’s disgrace
 And denigrating bide,
 Of our earthly prize,
 Whilst apathetically
 Man in kind deface,
 To discombobulate
 Our memory’s state,
 Tho while held in awe
 Insentient of its worth,
 Denies many having place
For all to be on planet earth!

“ A Hyphenated World ”

                   – held fitting guise –

‘Tis a fitting guise

A hyphenated world,

Of hyphenated people

Barely joined together,

By shortest of lines

Save in desperate times,

If but to stay alive

Until next apprise,

Holds indefinite man

If he is to survive,

Until discord subsides

Tho wanting to encage

He’ll once more fractionize,

By manipulating stage…

In a language to divide

That largely means create

A hyphenated bide,

Trusted so to populate

Heedless of unwise,

Words fixed to engage

By language brigade,

Who spreads confusion

Among the lesser wise,

Maximize demand

To maintain disguise,

Of the hyphenated men

Who power world divides!

“ Façades ” – that all seem the same –

Listen to audio

“ Façades ”

– that all seem the same –

You try blind

Façades game,

Front or hind

Seem the same,

As man’s kind

Some be worm,

Wriggle round

In fixed squirm,

Won’t be found

Save you’re firm,

And thus bound

To want uncover,

Man rates exposed

Thru endeavours,

Hence he compose

Of a bent measure,

With baleful mind

He works his game,

Of a greed’s assign

And without shame,

He’ll find time,

To deploy his tricks

Meant keep us blind,

Thus be man’s façades

That all seem the same!

                                                      Listen to audio

“ A Snowflake ”

            – at the bottom lies –

Holds reason wonder,

About the others

Who first arrived,

And now held under,

Tho manage to survive,

While on the surface

The more materialize,

Layer upon layer

The scale expands,

Thus be no error

They find hold hands,

Supporting each other

To bear the strain,

Makes need to shoulder

Until snowflakes turn to rain…

A snowflake

At the bottom lies,

Hence be others

That too will smother,

Yet given druthers

Reach to save those left,

Spared not of shelter

From mans foulness,

However not in vain

As natures fate egresses,

Destined suffer it’s to blame

Alas until snowflakes turn to rain!
