A Man

– called Marc –

He’d not stay long,
In life’s short run
Be too soon gone,
As if one shunned
To an early dawn,
From a place won
In a shortish song,
He as a brother be
Far too young gone,
Gods fixed not see,
As life span of a pawn
Alas was short-lived run
Thus, alike an early dawn!
                   Might you have parted
                               without telling your friend,
dear Marc, until it was too late…?

Ode, two scores late, for the passing
of Marc Tetreault, the rarest of dear friends.

PS: If there should be an afterlife or such a thing as a next life,
Marc is the one true friend I would seek to befriend again.

On The Run

– from here to there –

Getting nowhere
In particular,
Holds baby bare
Not yet articular,
From here to there
Out of the picture,
Be on the run
In quest of a live future!

The Interruption – of a restless sleep –

The Interruption
       - of a restless sleep -
 Mind

 Wouldst plan,
 View holds
 As theories can,
 If but an inkling
 Of purpose stands,
 To not be tinkering
 As world needs find,
 Collective peace of mind!
 Running

 Running me
 To death,
 Afore finding
 I had depth,
 Not as in seriatim
 Seeking breadth,
 But to want done
 As a living objective,
 Despite our meagre run!
 OverTime

 Then over time
 You meet death,
 Sits on the wings
 Of your breath,
 Thus never late
 Fate’s wily net,
 Finds confiscate
A bit of life you’ve left!

“ A Place ” ~ in the sun ~

One lives in need

Of a place,

Held be in the sun

For its life giving face,

Tho risks of burn

In sun’s solar run,

We mightn’t discern,

Its perilous pace

Has us suffer pain,

Sparing no place

In spite of the rains,

He’ll find to embrace

Any ones face

Who dares overstay,

For sun, will have its way!
