Wanting

        – to know why –

Listen to audio

– to know why –

Would it matter,
Wanting
To know why,
If one didn’t
Get an answer,
Having thought
To wonder,
Ought question
Mental wrought,
Find whether
Trouble ought,
Tho no longer
Above water,
While persists
Probe forever,
One considers  
Being clever,
Mightn’t ever 
Learn reply,
Wanting
To know why, 
Best be left
Without an answer!

“ The Wind ” ~ that whispers ~

 

Listen to the wind,

Softly whisper

Its chagrin,

Anxious tales

Harbouring sins

Of men for sale,

Who wile us in,

Won’t hesitate

On but a whim

To devastate,

Hid in the whispers

Of an angry wind…

 

Thus as wind wails

In mock reply,

A sadly echo

Of tortured cry,

Tells be destined

Meant soon to die,

While a final whisper

Be the wind’s good-bye!

 

Writing – need there be reason –

 

Why do you write

Asked unabashed,

As tho an answer

Other than need,

May even succeed

In shedding light…                  

 

Forces be real

I heard my reply,

Helps  touch why

Tho ne’er quite sure

My words truly fly…

 

What do you write           

She offers in spite,

My hazy taunts

Not meant be trite,

I scribble of time

That shadows mine,

To divert attention

If lot whispers of death…

 

Fate may deny

Time I have left,

So while I’ve breath

And feelings to best,

I’ll write with my soul 

Thus wants life bold,

Without reason or why

For as long as I’ll get!
