                  – of destined to be –

                                               
Image
     - you see -

May not ere be 
If ne’er ye find
An image to see,
In fact ‘tis of ye 
As short set time, 
Despite of a plea
For annals define,
Be vacant you see
Of destined life be!

Imagining
     - persona said whole -

Risks find exterior 
Not imagining be, 
A creation inferior
Albeit melds just,
Held modestly bold
May not be an image
Of persona said whole!


Imaging 
         -  fixed impression -

In one’s reflection
A mirrored façade,
Of fixed impression
Has one soon wonder,
What he will envisage
Of neoteric squander,
Thru lifetime’s ravages
Of reality faced imaging!

“ If Only ” – ‘twas wishful thinking –

If only

‘Twas wishful thinking,

Of probable reality

Evidenced an inkling,

Mightn’t so endorse

That of every wish,

Be credible of course

Save the odd amiss,

Held dreamers

Of likely myths,

Be dubious design

Confounded as a gift,

Questions waste of time…

 

If only

Suffered wanting,

Said ‘twas wishful thinking

Be thus understood,

One may not be bidding

For mind games’ likelihood!

“ Grieving ” ~ time neglected ~

I grieve for time

Passing unseen,

Tho anxiously

I try to redeem,

An absurd task

Held be a dream,

Behind the mask

That only seems,

Assuage ones fear

Now less than keen,

When down the line

Reality finds clear,

That life left behind

Actualizes many years,

Yet neglected tell my mind

There’ll be life past the tears,

For obtuse squandered assign

Has me grieving, now ill timed!

“ The Smile ” ~ wants trick reality ~

There’s a smile

On his face,

Tho for a while

He’ll embrace,

Gathered years

Of delusory state,

His abstruse façade

Holds stuff of tears,

Thus he feigns glad

No one can hear,

What surges inside

He’ll fancy hide,

By imaging wise,

To cover sorrow

Until it subsides,

As causes held wide

Wants trick reality,

With smile that disguises!

Wishful thinking

Provoking fantasies, 

Wanting of reality…

Be images

Of cloudy definitions,

Coming into focus…

 

Love,

Be emotions

You hope share,

That will not fade…

 

Love,

By any definition

Be about admission!

 

 

“ The Next Place ” ~ finding spirited minds ~

 

In time I’ll reach

That other place,

Though obsidian

Need be embraced,

And look to find

Spirited minds,

With mirth akin

To likes of mine,

Whose wit posits

One be inclined

Thus so to laugh

Away a grimly day,

When in its stead

You find the way

To what be left

Of life to play,

Until so bound

Be but to face,

Last time around     

Be the next place!
