“ Years ” ~ of living’s best ~

Years dying away

Some of living’s best,

Yet far too many

Years full of life

Aversely put to rest,

In the ensuing dark

Leaving held memory

Barely time to wrest,

From obscurity’s quest!

 

“ Of Friends ” ~ now gone ~

 

In time there gone

Those we chose call

Our friends,

And for each then,

We suffer to resign

Alas to bid amen,

For there be time

Best recall laid to rest,

As said held notions

Be but a restless quest,

So furthers our regrets!
