“ My World ” ~ in peril ~

In predictable peril

Be now my world,

Made fatally ill

By apathetic ogres

Who covet excess,

To feed their power,

For want of posses,

Thus be man’s state

In a world gone to hell,

Yet ignores its fate

And chooses not tell,

We’re destined endure

A moribund dwell,

Tho once vibrant world

Now exists in unsure,

As man deaf and demur

Tends cause damage afar,

While ecological cure

Be word fix he holds thin,

Save its echo he knows

Whirls in ne’er ending spin!

“ Followed Heroes ” ~ that weren’t ~

We followed heroes

That weren’t,

They who sent boys

In their stead

To get burnt,

Maimed, lamed

Or wretchedly dead…

We follow cowards,

Who professed

To undo the mess,

Of affluent power

Held un-confessed,

Orchestrators

Of partisan-fests,

Only to find

They heroed us blind,

To pocket what’s yours

And what’s mine…

Yet we the naive

Follow heroes that aren’t,

Who cause us grieve,

The while charade

Fixing the morrows,

To incarnate their masquerade!

“ What Will Hold Sway ” ~ to be rid of hate ~

One ceases wonder

What might hold sway,

On yet reached state

Gone beyond late,

Would set us free

In time be rid of hate,

To not play race

Nor creed or faith,

Means embrace bait,

Preached by man dubious

In a dogmatic place,

In grips now held as bold

Where power so extols,

Man would find to call fate!

ode, to the overpowered by hate,
the world over…

“ In The Dark ” ~ of man’s mind ~

In the dark

Of man’s mind,

‘Tis said resides

In cerebrum,

A wily bide

Thus callous side

Of invidious will,

Whose bent intends

A motivating state,

To but assimilate

Subconsciousness,

The while subduing

Resistance whole,

Hence to create

A nest hegemony

Of nefarious control,

For social leaders

Who puppeteer

Said fellow earthling,

Kept in the dark

Of their inhuman minds!
