“ Conversations ”

– with me, myself and I –

I am curiously held aware,

Being conscious of converse

That it’s natural to beware,

In an age amorally perverse

Where humankind despairs,

Of conversations so adverse

Suggesting interest to be fair,

Yet holds intent to be averse…

Tho it be of and by myself

I fancied be a person free,

That which finds dominate

A better part of early me,

That ideates a perfect fate

To fill the emptiness I see,

In dreams imaging awake

Conversely so I want to flee…

A time knew of not be fast

Nor forcing to make haste,

Or find way to further last

In concert with moral taste,

Whose worth wouldst cast

The value of contented state,

While forgetting not the past

To help shape avert mistakes,

In conversations that will task

Beyond with me, myself and I!

“ The Art of Aging ” – man’s eschatology –

“ The Art of Aging ”

            – man’s eschatology –

 Age has you feel
 The consequence,
 Of thinned conceal
 By a starved brush,
 Upon your person
 Wants but to instil
 A sense of rush,
 The while reward
 Be to lay shades,
 In wisdom’s colours
 On its aging canvas
 Begs innate candour...

 Thus so you know
 Life lends redress,
 To shadowed greys
 Of life’s excesses,
 Will shape in part
 What age expresses...

 Hence of bold lines
 Carved so by time,
 Some even apropos
 Meant not unkind,
 To one’s tableaux
 That age defines,
 While time directs
 You suffer decline,
 Yet holds respect
 For the art of aging,
 Alas be man’s eschatology!

“ Life ”

         – be but a minute –

The journey starts

Tho moves so fast,

Seems off the chart

As conjectural cast,

Life means impart

On a short tenure,

Found is my part

In fates September,

As I a minute ark,

Will soon surrender

Seen ephemeral part,

May hold remember

A diminutive minute,

Mans unwitting enter

That is to be ones life…

As life be but a minute

Do pardon my rancour,

If you crowd my space

I am short of candour,

As be no time to waste

Nor room for squander,

So I’ve cause to make haste…

In the wake of all to die

As will prized September,

When reality need not hide

Find ye peace in fall’s slumber,

And the minute to live described

Thus as said of life, be but a minute!

“ The Man ” – of two glasses –

                                                     Listen to audio

“ The Man ”

       – of two glasses –

He sits to face

Across the table,

An empty space

Tho hardly able,

From time ago

The chair since bare,

Remains aglow,

To still reflect

The face he loved,

There upon the glass

Of a pale rosé…

Each forlorn day

In vain he stares,

With musing’s say

One can near feel

Her presence there,

His mind will trace

Upon that empty chair,

A memory of her face

That will not part

That special place,

Fixed in his heart…

Alas the man

Said of two glasses,

Sits so to face

As time so passes,

That empty space

He for a moment dwells,

On a memory only he can tell!

“ Relinquished ” ~ of uncertainty ~

Abandoned thus

To absurdity,

The part of me

That did insist,

On feelings

Of uncertainty…

I then relinquished

Conformity,

Once I distinguished

The enormity,

Of life in a mind free!

                                                          ode to an awakening…

“ Mindful ” ~ in my sleep ~

I’m mindful

In my sleep,

Though I know

It’s not unique,

To thus recall

While part dead,

Afflicted all

Held as we sleep,

Be ones stead

Hence so to reap,

What lies ahead!
