Makes Ye Think

         – that there’s a link –

Will come a time
For aging life,
Gods do decline
Find defer strife,
Tho we near blind
Musing afterlife,
A man’s assign
No minor swipe,
In his lifetime
If wise he’s not,
While so aligned
He may be fraught,
By a wizened state
That alters naught,
Thus, to find room
Far from the end,
A state of gloom
Yet sets amend,
To make ye think
Of time too soon,
That there’s a link
Where we end up,
On second thought
Holds your last sup,
Ought make ye think!

The While

ye be around –

The While

– ye be around –

Yet of no say
Best to seek,
A kindly day
Evades bleak,
For the while
Life has ye be,
In need of smile
To maybe see,
If not to hear
Hint of sound,
Suggests know
Won’t confound,
With not to show
Nor will respond,
Save to oneself,
As for the while
Be good or bad,
Without beguile
That ye’ve found,
Will go the mile
Or way around,
In the time it takes
While above ground,
For a life’s short state,
Man termed, the while!

Looking

– for a mesmeric fellow –

Holds may be finally time
You fix mesmerical place,
While aging state inclines
Must allow a guess to face,
Worthy façade’s story lines
Wants find liable to follow,
When soon will depict sign
That yet may end be hollow,
Lest one chances new assign
Would fit a mesmeric fellow!

Whatever Happened

         – to what’s his name –

Listen to audio

Whatever Happened
- to what’s his name -
Tells of a social game,
In whatever happened
Be to what’s his name,
Or view face of whom
As recall slowly came,
Via beacon so illumed
For its curiosity’s aim,
That might’ve implied
See to be but so and so,
May hold a worthy ply
Save ‘tis another trope
Put to what’s his name!
Ode to the face of reality…

“ Reaching ”

  – the edge, of life’s design –

I’ve journeyed
Far and long,
At times hurried
Thus to prolong,
That meagre stay
Palpably foregone,
A notable evidence
Recall diminishes,
By limited passage
Thru hazy distances
Now on the ledge,
Blurring defines
Life may allege,
Tho be insistent
Prays on a mind,
To suffer existence
In dwindling time,
Tho but an instant
By recall’s decline,
Reaching the edge
Of life’s design,
Fate shan’t pledge
Be shadows assign,
To offer life hedge
On finale it deigns,
Past illusion held fast
As image perceived disappears,
In the dusk of a lifespan once cast!

“ If Only ” – ‘twas wishful thinking –

DSCN6839  Listen to audio

If only

‘Twas wishful thinking,

Of probable reality

Evidenced an inkling,

Mightn’t so endorse

That of every wish,

Be credible of course

Save the odd amiss,

Held dreamers

Of likely myths,

Be dubious design

Confounded as a gift,

Questions waste of time…

If only

Suffered wanting,

Said ‘twas wishful thinking

Be thus understood,

One may not be bidding

For mind games’ likelihood!
