Looking
At sagacious thought,
That questions
Worth of ones own,
Thus to have been sown!
Looking
For reasons,
Not to suppose,
That by and by
I’ll not dispose,
For me to abide
As I want compose…
Looking
At thoughts,
That questions
The soul,
Shadowed in doubt
Yet passing for whole,
When worth I gave
May have dried out,
Hence less than brave
I’ve agonized about,
A premature bide
In fates grave reside…
Looking
To find serenity,
That shan’t confine,
To narrowed time!
Looking for place
To hide,
One that’s as long
As wide,
A place for feelings
Yet rigidly raw,
In state that needs
A while to thaw,
As one so pleads
No longer can bear
Made hide ones fare…
So to survive
We have to find
A mind alive,
Who has little time
Left to realize
We’re near empty
On a road scarce alive,
So choked and dried
Be hard to find place,
We no longer need hide!
Looking
From inside out,
I see a face
Has me in doubt,
Though I know
It’s me inside and out,
I fail discern
This face be so,
As one I’d worn
The many years
Since I was born…
As lines of time
In crags so shape,
Thus bared façade
Conjures adverse,
Allows one see
Life be perverse…
Hence though I gaze
With woeful eyes,
The while I fantasize
At once arresting face,
Now to imagine wise
Mind so disguised
That I should visualize,
Looking from outside in!
