The Face

– of fates longevity –

The Face
An ancient face
Sooner or later,
Made to look on
Hopeful for better,
To yet be around
Still a minds voice,
That opposites found
Best be natures choice,
Tho life gift a mite short
One hopes the cause moults,
But pleads will to make strong
Naught ye’d want source revolt,
Whilst held liable gods sleep along
Till shape be the face, of fates longevity!

The Look

– of a forlorn smile –

I picture the look
Of a beguiled face,
That wants to brook
Find an affable place,
For the very long while
Hence want not lose pace,
Nor to misplace found smile
Tho all gods shan’t pay grace,
When irrelevant be man’s guile
Who wouldst try calm sadly face,
With the tacit mind, of a forlorn smile!

A Trio of Poetic Echoes…

Frivolity

The commodify,

Of laisse faire

Speaks of oddity,

To find fly an affair

Taken with frivolity!

Façade

You find look

Be oppression,

Beyond brook

Of expression,

Despite its façade

Charts blindly sad!

Conscience

You are aware,

Yet knowingly

Without care,

Tho insentience

Finds admittance,

Of a conscience!

Just to let you know that I have been honoured by Francina of Poetry and Art, who a few days ago, published my poem ‘The Way Home’ on her post…

” The Way Home “

            – looking for the road –

I’d moved on

For reasons vague,

Like vision fades

For bygone days,

Where but a trace

Of puerile dreams,

For untried place

Fashioned a need,

That time in wait

Might so achieve,

An understanding

Not yet discovered,

Wants one explore

Afore life quenches

That thirst to roam,

Till years suggest

Look for the road,

Leads the way home!

“ In Time ” ~ a timeless pit ~

Where do I find,
Hopeful in time,
That gentle face
Lost to my mind,
Forces me look
In wonted place,
Tho I now dread
Be uncaring gods
Of darkness spent,
Who feed in hell
Their fickle bent,
Want but inflict
Disordered spells
Held pitiless fit,
Would demean fate
Of ones mental state,
Living in a timeless pit!
