” To Reinvent ” ~ one more time ~

Life tends imply

It be no longer,

Than a wink

Or a wave goodbye,

So reach to think

Of years lucent,

As time wears thin

And soon be spent,

When soul therein

Suggest ones done

From life now spun,

Hence without fuss

Foster what ye must

For one more time,

Thus so to reinvent!

“ Your Love ” ~ and mine ~

One day

When I’m no longer

There,

Music you still hear

Will be the sound

Life gives  pleasure,

From joyful tears

In garnered measure,

Of such memories

That wants linger,

As for the while

You’ll mean recall

Those many times,

We gourmet dined

On moments treasured,

Held of words did bind

Your love and mine!

Of Living ~ to the very end ~

I held I might

Live longer,

He whispered

To himself

When thoughts

In shades of dark

Did speak,

That he might hark

‘Twould sanction

But a peek,

At life between

The lines,

Should he so incline

He’d live beyond

What would allow

His furtive mind,

Thus fail recall

He’d found,

The idea of  forever

Be limited in time,

And so too soon

On any given day,

That of living

Would find its way,

Obdurately

To the very end

Of his forever time!
