“ Life In Timeless State ” ~ to laugh at fate ~

As I await

Familiar faces

I stray not far

Of wonted places,

For I so dread

If should I roam

I’d find them gone,

Or thus alone

And in their stead

Be grim spirits

Want fuss my head,

The while I linger

Hopeful to find

Life beyond time,

Whereas I’ve still

The strength of will,

To join held gods

Who laugh at fate,

As they so celebrate

Careless of time,

In timeless state!

“ Illusions ” ~ shades of confusion ~

I’d imagined

Feeling free

Mesmerically safe,

From illusions

In shades of confusion…

While illusions fade

In hues adrift

Of our imaginings,

Some adorned

Of jagged thorns,

Veiled in silken traps

Linger on perhaps,

Yet others lie hid

Propitiously borne,

Laudably worth a bid!

“ Your Love ” ~ and mine ~

One day

When I’m no longer

There,

Music you still hear

Will be the sound

Life gives  pleasure,

From joyful tears

In garnered measure,

Of such memories

That wants linger,

As for the while

You’ll mean recall

Those many times,

We gourmet dined

On moments treasured,

Held of words did bind

Your love and mine!

“ In Early Morn ” ~ I see time hurry past ~

When I awake

In early morn

I linger there

The while beguiled,

Envision the while

A rousing storm,

Albeit semiotics

Tells  I am born,

This day again

to keep alive,

Impulsive ways

To but survive,

In life too fast…

Hence so I wake

To contemplate,

A constant haste

That cannot last,

Yet would so blur

Time hurry past,

More than before

Worries  my stay

As it contracts,

To illuminate

Most every day,

Thus in the wake

Of early morn

Find to invalidate,

Time hurry past!

“ Expiry Date ” ~ a constant threat ~

‘Tis said of life

With death

Walks hand in hand,

Yet to this end

A constant threat

Commands,

Such be held fears

Tho shan’t have say

Wouldst linger near

Till life’s expiry date,

Hence ye meant find

In that ensuing place

Said peace of mind,

Held too soon there,

Might we alas discover,

The wonders of life’s fare

The while we be alive!
