A Morrow

– too soon –

Now but afternoon
In lifetime destiny,
Be forever too soon
For morrow apathy,
Ye’d aspire for room
To ignore life’s brevity,
Thus minimize its gloom
That seeks invade our sanity!
A reflection on life ever fleeting,
in the wake of an adversary,
	                        known as annual anniversary…

“ Dismay ” ~ best left behind ~

I’ve lived such days

But chose ignore,

Endured dismay

I so deplored,

Without want say

Holds irate enmity

One could not see,

Till be made suffer

Effort find agree,

To compensate

Seen simple way,

Before too late

Bid live carefree

Of life’s dismay,

Said be best left behind!

“ The Crow ” ~ that was ~

I am the crow

That was before,

Now made to go

For a last chore,

To find the place

Where I’m to lie,

As will old crows

When time to die,

The while remember

I am the crow,

Who with its caw

Be crow you saw,

Meant let you know

Hunger weren’t lore

Nor presence to ignore,

Tho now be just a crow

That is alas no more!

“ The Sun ” ~ we’d thought forever ~

Why did man ignore

The decomposing shield,

Earth’s ozone door

From which behind

The sun inclines,

Till given chance

Will cook your mind,

And with more time

He’ll have you fried…

Where are the keepers

Of once perfect earth,

Deaf to despairing cries

For a world built on lies,

Conceived by profiteers

Forcing us to hide,

In shades of emptiness,

Soon to live in shadows

Too close to dark’s abyss,

Where man has lost face

And mankind has no place!
