 From apropos 
 to ye ought know,
 would that we find
 the how to slow,
 an aging mind... 

 Yet far from reign
 these gods that play,
 our heads in game 
 be mindless way,
 need feign shame
 from apropos,
 to ye ought know
 afore ‘tis time,
 Too soon will show!

“ Getting There ” ~ not when, but how ~

 

There was a time,

Getting there then,

Be an adventure

Held half the fun,

For easy ‘twas when

Deemed be secure,

With far less care

That now pretends,

Hold standard fare…

 

Getting there then

Said long ago now,

Offered a man

Its traveler’s best,

Be carriage or scow,

Save else on foot

Was all it took,

When journey held,

Not when, but how!

 

                                                  ode to travelers, suffering

                                                                  security tribulations!

“ Ambiguous ” ~ so how to know ~

 

Your expressions

Are not clear,

Ambiguous

To tears,

Your intentions

Seems to me

Could be judged

At times I fear,

Thin as veneer…

 

So how to know

You’re wanting

To be lucid,

And endearing

When you’re near,

As long as you shall stay

Be an hour or a day,

Ambiguous my dear!
