The Face

– of fates longevity –

The Face
An ancient face
Sooner or later,
Made to look on
Hopeful for better,
To yet be around
Still a minds voice,
That opposites found
Best be natures choice,
Tho life gift a mite short
One hopes the cause moults,
But pleads will to make strong
Naught ye’d want source revolt,
Whilst held liable gods sleep along
Till shape be the face, of fates longevity!

“ They Walk Alone ”

             – in a faceless world –

 They walk alone
 On crowded streets,
 These vacant beings
 Suffering defeat,
 Trudging on feelings
 Found bittersweet,
 Despite bewilderment
 Held negated souls,
 In constant lament
 For the cadence holds,
The bulk of a life spent
 On their weary feet,
 As human refuse
 On a deathly beat,
 Who seek refuge
 In a mingy world replete…

 Routed in despair
 Most lay in wait,
 For their decay
 To transfer hells,
 While with false hope
 These human shells,
 Pray fate awakes
 Would thus impel,
 And so reach out
 Hence fore too late,
 When they’ll arrived
 At fated final hell,
 Yet so to walk alone
 Thus in a faceless world!

                 A nudge on today’s world...

“ A Joy ”

      – imagined –

A joy extant infers

Fate lets attain,

I find imagine

What ought contain,

Stuff be of dreams

Imaging the silken,

Rather than lined

In matters coarse,

Though often times

Joy be dark horse,

To masquerade

Masked as a rose,

In joyless shade,

Wanting but dispose…

Yet be this joy

Illusion’s dope,

Thirsting to enjoy

We live in hope,

Yet sadly fantasize

In musings empty,

Waiting joy incites

A moment of delight

To more than but survive!

                        A young man’s search recalling joy…

“ Endless ” ~ hope and its misses ~

Of boundless hope

And as many misses,

Be mindful of scope

Said life’s caprices,

We forever grope

Beyond ambitious,

Till ‘tis contrary

To fates chose dishes,

And lacking the parity

In positives we seek,

To end endless hope

Cast by devilish cheats,

Orchestrating its misses!

“ That Pope ” ~ be but a man ~

Who is that man

We know as pope,

Speaks of his god

In guarded hope,

Yet but a notion

He finds to cloud

Anomic motion,

Thus  pope’s nod

Tries realize,

Deeds  worth born

Thru wise contrive,

Wants reach out

To obviate scorn

Of all who doubt,

Self-serve beliefs

Of ambiguous gods,

Begs we question

Ill fated concepts,

Whose insecure souls

Must suffer its tenet,

Said reflections of man mad

In a world of self-destruction!

                                                                                ode to Udo for inspiring

this poem on now Pope Francesco,

possibly the greatest in modern history!

“ Sway ” ~ just enough ~

Sway

Just enough

To give hope a ray,

Sway

A bit more

To let me find

The way,

Sway

Then again,

To so compose

You’d have me stay,

Sway

Fate might fix

Life be with love

More than a day,

Sway

To find share

Destined replete

Be criteria’s fare,

Sway

Life be free

Of bent aspirants,

And political tyrants,

Sway

Alas man finds

Give life to dreams,

Barring nightmare,

If incubi, succubi be there

For ones held pleasures!

“ Limbo’s Darkness ” ~ in your mind ~

I reached for you

Yet somehow knew

I’d touch shadows,

I voiced your name,

To hear but echoes

Sounding awash

And doleful lame,

I looked to find

Cold had replaced

A familiar warmth,

And when wake

Would feel you be

There by my side,

Not in a limbo’s tide…

As I await

For your escape

I see a tearful face,

Among the shadows

Of a limboed place,

Thus beg for  morrow

That you be guided

To the end of sorrow,

Ne’er more to find

Lives in your mind,

The dark of limbo!
