The While

– ye be around –

Yet of no say
Best to seek,
A kindly day
Evades bleak,
For the while
Life has ye be,
In need of smile
To maybe see,
If not to hear
Hint of sound,
Suggests know
Won’t confound,
With not to show
Nor will respond,
Save to oneself,
As for the while
Be good or bad,
Without beguile
That ye’ve found,
Will go the mile
Or way around,
In the time it takes
While above ground,
For a life’s short state,
Man termed, the while!

Listening

       – be not hearing –

Listening

       – be not hearing –

One may hear words
He’d want find bold,
Be bordering absurd
Decries nervous soul,
Fortuitously blurred
Of insignificant dole,
Be il facilely heeding
For a fit tenuous droll,
Appear as not hearing
Will have taken its toll,
Despite ye be listening
To words fits not whole...

Sets thy thoughts pacific
That of tranquil insisting,
Tho find lack of specific
Thus, focus but on living,
As constant ethnographic
Finds carry on persisting,
So pass on bent spasmodic
For listening be not hearing!

		Ode to thinking man...

A Palm Tree

– at my window –

A Palm Tree

– at my window –

I struggle to hear
Hence so understand,
Signs of leafy arms
That waver in speech,
To find want explain
Its lifegiving reach,
Which patiently frames
It’s reliance amiss,
On neglected terrain
Of existence we miss,
Thus, without care
Beyond reminisce,
What palm tree means share!

Desperate Man

             – of traces unclear

Desperate man
Arrives in fear,
Looking at life
Traces unclear,
To face despite
He cannot hear,
Thus, he writes
Hoping it bears,
Some hint of sight
Marks he’d be there!
			ode to coherence of clarity…

“ A Secret ” – I’ve to die with

A Secret ”

– I’ve to die with –

I’ve had secrets

Rates not to keep,

Some by the by

Merits not a peep,

And one or two

Made me so blue

I’d given a bye…

But I’ve a secret

Shades my life,

Tho cannot share

Or fail to keep,

Thus held to bear

Finds futile weep,

Without concede

While I’m awake

Or in my sleep…

‘Tis a secret

That won’t heed,

And so remains

Despite I plead,

Be of a memory

Begs god-speed,

Hence to forego

Yet I find realize,

Fixed be of a kind

One can’t be freed,

Held thus a secret

That I’ve to die with!

“ In Echo’s Reach ” ~ I can yet hear ~

I can yet hear

In echo’s reach,

A lingering sound

Of surging waves,

Resounds in each

A plea begs save,

Tho well beyond

Risk may be found,

To now gain near

This time around,

That one may hear

Man anguished cry,

Wants but survive!
