Autumn Leaves

– on a shivery eve –

As autumn leaves,
Shadows fall
On a shivery eve,
While mind recalls
Obscuring shades,
I’m made to feel
While vista fades,
A summer’s peal
Nature betrays,
Once sun filled days…
Thus autumn leaves
My soul behind,
A summer hostage
Of plead declined
To keep alive
Fair weather skies,
And butterflies …
Soon winter’s blast
Will cast a haze,
To chase the last
Of autumn days,
And scattered leaves
When Frost said Jack,
Will come awake
In a world near grey,
To soon blustery wakes…
Tho I’d turn back
Fall season’s clock,
Nature chose cold
As its mortal mock,
To oblige Thanatos
Who will now wrest,
Fall season’s soul
As autumn leaves,
To soon make way
For a winter’s hold!

“ Now You’re Here ” ~ too soon you’re gone ~

Now you’re here,

Tho far too soon

You’re gone,

Leaving no reason

To the surrounds,

Save suggest year

Had but one season

Rather unclear,

Seen fulltime grey

With baleful demons,

No longer able

Kept at bay,

And so fate chose

You disappear,

To not extend

You suffer appear,

Another morrow’s day!

“ A Lazy Winter Day ” ~ drizzly and grey ~

It’s a lazy winter’s day

Drizzly and grey,

Abiding bedims’ tune,

Bordering on gloom

Of short winter days,

And gusty afternoons

That begs for sunshine

Ever gone too soon,

As if forced to decline

Behind a wistful moon,

Frustrating sun’s way

Arresting its warm boon,

On a lazy winter’s day!

“ Solaris ” ~ in shades abyss ~

Sun must be shy

As he’ll not look

Me in the eye,

Nor will he soar

As had before,

We ruined his sky…

He may ne’er more

Want light our way,

We who fouled

His heaven’s air,

Spewing waste

Corrupting space,

Once known safe

In a world gone grey,

As Solaris fades away…

Alas the keepers

Have ignored,

Desperate shouts

Of world untoward,

Solaris suffers

Shades abyss,

Thus can but move

To light another place,

Leaving shadows

Till dark be  fate,

Would end mankind

Starved of Solaris face!
