The Face

– of fates longevity –

The Face
An ancient face
Sooner or later,
Made to look on
Hopeful for better,
To yet be around
Still a minds voice,
That opposites found
Best be natures choice,
Tho life gift a mite short
One hopes the cause moults,
But pleads will to make strong
Naught ye’d want source revolt,
Whilst held liable gods sleep along
Till shape be the face, of fates longevity!

“ Today ” – a gift –

“ Today ”

– a gift –

 I am alive
 Today,
 The gods provide
 Another day,
 Thus be a gift
 To find its way,
 As they so deemed
 That I might stay,
 Be not a dream
 For on this day,
 Again it seems
 I am alive,
 Tho by all means
 Perhaps again,
 Yet be but for today!

“ The Other Side ”

             – of nowhere –

It’s a state of mind

Where the place to be,

Is a paradise uncharted

That sanity infers,

Is a situate must see

While so far it seems,

Getting there does mean

One need travel,

If but a gift for dreaming

On the other side of nowhere…

Doubt may at times

Discern ye be afraid,

Clouds so our mind

Yet fails to dissuade,

Of new worlds define

Be humanly worthy,

Said majority’s kind

So unlike parasitical,

Precursor to the blind

Seen perilous politicals,

Since inept left behind …

Hence I daren’t hesitate

With this bold escapade,

Want readily participate

In what leads to souls aid,

Facing a world, in decline

Not iniquitous charade,

Held be set state of mind

If ye should opt to believe,

Can so resolve to soon find,

The other side of nowhere!

“ The Gift ” – of you – revisited

“ The Gift ”

                 – of you –

I want not to forget

Fail having tried,

Or simply accept

I’ve reason to regret,

Mindful so I could

Be able to affect,

Without need to try

As if I could deny,

Our love grew beyond

You being easy on the eye…

I wanted to recall,

The times you tried

Offering your all,

And I too blind to see

Might’ve realized,

You so needed me,

As I you even more

Tho the gift offered,

I ne’er realized before

Had always been of you …

Doesn’t tax one’s memory

To recall there’d been many,

But none the worth, if any

Yet didn’t know enough

I’d the gift of you to hold,

But only now can tell

When grown wiser old,

While you, now too long gone

Be the gift, for someone else to hold!

“ If Only ” – ‘twas wishful thinking –

If only

‘Twas wishful thinking,

Of probable reality

Evidenced an inkling,

Mightn’t so endorse

That of every wish,

Be credible of course

Save the odd amiss,

Held dreamers

Of likely myths,

Be dubious design

Confounded as a gift,

Questions waste of time…

If only

Suffered wanting,

Said ‘twas wishful thinking

Be thus understood,

One may not be bidding

For mind games’ likelihood!

“ Let Me In ” ~ I want to live ~

Let me in, he pled,

I’m so frightened

And so hungry

I’m near dead,

Thus in a world

Without a stead,

He finds has bled

Away the heart

Of they he’d beg,

A place to start

That he may live,

Among the fated

Who would give,

Tho humble gift

Said kindly deed,

Plied moral lift

That he may seed

Enough for those,

Who needed feed

The debt one feels

To they who chose,

Should let him in

That he may live!

ode to they who chose to let in,

the ravaged by war and terror…

“ A Thought ” ~ I beg hold ~

On my mind

Be a thought

I beg hold,

Plead ought

Despite told,

Stated recall

Running cold,

As age’s gift

Aims uphold,

Its fated way

To so define,

A wary play

For its time,

Be a thought

In grey mind,

Slipping away

Denied bind,

Despite sway

Means to find,

Its abject guide,

That it may stay

As thought of worth ,

To indulge fading days!

“ Awake ” ~ should fate so will ~

As I awake

To day anew,

A gift to take

Life to renew,

Fugacious stay

Be of fates will,

As each new day

For time to fill,

In meagre way

If but to have

Chosen align,

Even if halved

By failing gods

Who fall behind,

With dated skills

In garbled minds,

Too aged to fulfil

Their role per se,

Fearing their state

Renders man still,

The while awake

Should fate so will!
