The Moment

– but a second be –

Ye learn forever
Be but a second,
Tho endeavour
To find extend,
Be the moment
We fix pretend,
In prolong time
Albeit beckons,
To expand clock
Ye gods do lend,
We reckon mock
As would eternal,
Beyond instant
Of kept normal,
As said forever
Held in thought,
Fate opts clever
Set close to lost,
Blink of an eye
Nay to be found,
One day or other
For ye’d be gone,
After the moment
Ne’er meant long,
Those waning days
Fixate a mind to see,
Of set persistent way
Has but the moment be!

A Face

A Face

-in final phase –

A face now deeply lined,
Even shade will not pale
To lessen relentless time,
Praying on it being frail
With an unrelenting seep,
Begs fix like clefts in haze
To delay degenerating creep,
While be, a face in final phase!

	         Ode to a faceless reality...

Looking

– for a mesmeric fellow –

Holds may be finally time
You fix mesmerical place,
While aging state inclines
Must allow a guess to face,
Worthy façade’s story lines
Wants find liable to follow,
When soon will depict sign
That yet may end be hollow,
Lest one chances new assign
Would fit a mesmeric fellow!

“ A Hyphenated World ” – held fitting guise –

“ A Hyphenated World ”

                   – held fitting guise –

‘Tis a fitting guise

A hyphenated world,

Of hyphenated people

Barely joined together,

By shortest of lines

Save in desperate times,

If but to stay alive

Until next apprise,

Holds indefinite man

If he is to survive,

Until discord subsides

Tho wanting to encage

He’ll once more fractionize,

By manipulating stage…

In a language to divide

That largely means create

A hyphenated bide,

Trusted so to populate

Heedless of unwise,

Words fixed to engage

By language brigade,

Who spreads confusion

Among the lesser wise,

Maximize demand

To maintain disguise,

Of the hyphenated men

Who power world divides!

“ Façades ” – that all seem the same –

Listen to audio

“ Façades ”

– that all seem the same –

You try blind

Façades game,

Front or hind

Seem the same,

As man’s kind

Some be worm,

Wriggle round

In fixed squirm,

Won’t be found

Save you’re firm,

And thus bound

To want uncover,

Man rates exposed

Thru endeavours,

Hence he compose

Of a bent measure,

With baleful mind

He works his game,

Of a greed’s assign

And without shame,

He’ll find time,

To deploy his tricks

Meant keep us blind,

Thus be man’s façades

That all seem the same!

“ Silence ” – for gratuitous reason –

Silence video picture IMG_3271 copy  Listen to audio

“ Silence ”

                – for gratuitous reason –

Why must I bide
To hear but sounds
Of silence,
At times a virtue
Now but a chide,
Thus weary I be
Ever waiting
On verbosity,
That might reflect
A hint of life…

Might I propose
In shades betwixt,
Effort compose
To so thus fix,
The emptiness
Of inert silence,
And the tedium
Of verbose prolix…
A word or more
I so implore
Even neath
The aural norm,
Albeit to tease
In lieu of please,
To save from silence
Held for gratuitous reason!

“ Puzzling ” ~ with longevity ~

Not for a life time

But of time alive,

Fate holds be mine

To explore demise,

As nature’s design

Of erudition drive,

For a human assign

In a complex devise,

Be suspect durability

That we want define,

Ceding be its brevity

Ought facilitate mind,

For its one only life

In a scant fix of time,

Has man ever puzzling

Till he realized best not find,

He was born to indeterminate end

With longevity be as fate so inclines!

“ Sway ” ~ just enough ~

Sway

Just enough

To give hope a ray,

Sway

A bit more

To let me find

The way,

Sway

Then again,

To so compose

You’d have me stay,

Sway

Fate might fix

Life be with love

More than a day,

Sway

To find share

Destined replete

Be criteria’s fare,

Sway

Life be free

Of bent aspirants,

And political tyrants,

Sway

Alas man finds

Give life to dreams,

Barring nightmare,

If incubi, succubi be there

For ones held pleasures!

“ Wouldn’t It Be ” ~ wonderful ~

Wouldn’t it be
Marvellous,
Should we abide
We opt on side,
Reason decides
That feelings be,
As fate devised
Not self-absorbed
Or tend one sided,
Rid of overdrive
Thus so guided,
To fix on wouldn’t be
Anything but wonderful!
