The Face

– in inure place –

I see the face,
Now as in life
In inured place,
Eased of strife
To rid of waste,
As dubious rife
In rawest sense,
Like stiletto knife
Inflicts offence,
To callous tense…

As face reflects
A raced journey,
Creates an image
To fixate markedly,
Begs want end travel
Of memories passing,
Finds scold bold arrival
Of phantoms trespassing,
As tho one’s fate be trivial
In the face of an inured place,
The gods rendered us negligible!

Desperate Man

Desperate Man

             – of traces unclear

Desperate man
Arrives in fear,
Looking at life
Traces unclear,
To face despite
He cannot hear,
Thus, he writes
Hoping it bears,
Some hint of sight
Marks he’d be there!
			ode to coherence of clarity…

Whatever Happened

Listen to audio

Whatever Happened
- to what’s his name -
Tells of a social game,
In whatever happened
Be to what’s his name,
Or view face of whom
As recall slowly came,
Via beacon so illumed
For its curiosity’s aim,
That might’ve implied
See to be but so and so,
May hold a worthy ply
Save ‘tis another trope
Put to what’s his name!
Ode to the face of reality…

This Face

     – be as tho painted –

This face you see
Be as tho painted,
Told idiosyncrasy
Disorderly related,
Still has a grandee
Fixed thus to elate,
Not au contrair be
Of a mindful trait,
But of astute being
In that erudite state
Affects as depicted,
Note ingress's place
Tho ilk’s affixed bait,
See face, as tho painted...
A face will so emerge
In life unacquainted,
Yet ‘tis discouraged
At seen underrated,
For fruit of one’s urge
Begs shan’t be wasted,
As but a dreamlike hold
Life fancied be untainted,
And that you not fail extol
This face, be as tho painted!

The Look

– of a forlorn smile –

I picture the look
Of a beguiled face,
That wants to brook
Find an affable place,
For the very long while
Hence want not lose pace,
Nor to misplace found smile
Tho all gods shan’t pay grace,
When irrelevant be man’s guile
Who wouldst try calm sadly face,
With the tacit mind, of a forlorn smile!

A Poetic Trio – of fated time –

Listen to audio

A Mask

Will in time
Knit façade,
Like a mask
For the mind,
Blinds fate past!

Shades – of time –

Seem out of place
Fate’s shades of time,
Too soon effaced
A once upon sublime,
Find lost in waist
Humanity’s sad define,
Tho truth known
Rashly yours and mine!

Trickeries

          – adjudged end unknown –

As I recall now,
Of early dawn
The gods avow,
Scant paragon
Be held to end,
As I grow wise
Find so intend,
To forever thrive,
In minds eye norm
Be of fates trickeries,
Adjudged end unknown!

“ A Space ” – held in awe, be our planet earth –

                                  Listen to audio

A Space

– held in awe,

be our planet earth –

 ‘Tis a space,
 Held in awe
 Our planet earth,
 A place we crave
 Thus so we may,
 From birth to grave
 Tho be fates play,
 One you can’t save
 Nor meant we stay,
 On its passing wave
 We’ll not want stray
 Tho holds your breath,
 With its waning taste
 Wouldst suffer death,
 To extend embrace...
 Held in veiled guise,
 Tho bares one’s face
 Who finds will hide,
 Said man’s disgrace
 And denigrating bide,
 Of our earthly prize,
 Whilst apathetically
 Man in kind deface,
 To discombobulate
 Our memory’s state,
 Tho while held in awe
 Insentient of its worth,
 Denies many having place
For all to be on planet earth!

“ The Man ” – of two glasses –

“ The Man ”

       – of two glasses –

He sits to face

Across the table,

An empty space

Tho hardly able,

From time ago

The chair since bare,

Remains aglow,

To still reflect

The face he loved,

There upon the glass

Of a pale rosé…

Each forlorn day

In vain he stares,

With musing’s say

One can near feel

Her presence there,

His mind will trace

Upon that empty chair,

A memory of her face

That will not part

That special place,

Fixed in his heart…

Alas the man

Said of two glasses,

Sits so to face

As time so passes,

That empty space

He for a moment dwells,

On a memory only he can tell!

“ A Vortex ”

            – has ye bound –

Held the mind

Is as a vortex,

Of firm define

In ones cortex,

That be vassal

Has us bound,

Yet bedazzled

In otiose sound,

Will so frazzle

While ‘tis said

Sets a ground,

That unfolds

For its ascent,

Aims behold

Fated meant,

To be so bold

In bid chance,

Ye are in wake

Of life’s dance,

Young or old

To find taste,

While it holds

For too soon

We are waste,

To be strewn

Without grace,

As out of tune

Thus to find face,

For underground

Option said place,

Short on rebound

Despite vortex mind,

That alleges has ye bound!

“ I Never Do Insist ” – tho I so bid –

DSCN1281  Listen to audio

I Never Do Insist

                      – tho I so bid –

I badger

I pressure,

I brow beat

I pester,

To evoke lament

For cause gone amiss,

If need be torment

But I never do insist…

I dismiss

I displace,

I’m remiss

To disgrace,

And erase

To save face,

When I’m out of place

But I never do insist…

I coerce

I compel,

I harass

I cajole,

And kick ass

If they sass,

Save always with class

But I never do insist…

I dare say

I don’t grieve,

When invited

Tho peeved,

I do state

I’ve a knack,

If there’s call

To achieve,

Any way

There’s a need,

Of obtuse to be rid

It’s no feat I so bid,

But I never do insist!
