“ Knowing ” ~ what I think ~

Though some profess

Knowing what I think,

Divining thus, at best

Held a dubious blink,

Yet claim pursuer eyes

Find enter with a wink,

Adept at reading wise

Human or robotized,

In man too often blind

Hence so to scrutinize,

A baseless notional line

Of thought unrealized,

Alleged did fit my mind

Asserting ‘tis not guise,

This thought said known

Might ne’er materialize,

As knowing what I think

May not want to survive!

“ Realism ” ~ of vague define ~

Why so strive,

Ne’er knowing

If attempts

At realism

Will survive,

Thus so to find

A pragmatic

State of mind,

Treats no offers

Of dubious tempt

Or bleak design,

As sad enactments

Of relics in erst time,

For reality we seek

Ever suffers vague define,

Yet we’ll persist

In spite of every miss!

“ What Will Hold Sway ” ~ to be rid of hate ~

One ceases wonder

What might hold sway,

On yet reached state

Gone beyond late,

Would set us free

In time be rid of hate,

To not play race

Nor creed or faith,

Means embrace bait,

Preached by man dubious

In a dogmatic place,

In grips now held as bold

Where power so extols,

Man would find to call fate!

ode, to the overpowered by hate,
the world over…

“ A Last Hurrah ” ~ alas too soon ~

I’ve howled hurrahs

For varied causes,

Tho at times admit

Of dubious sauces,

When in my youth

I took few pauses

Before I jumped,

To lofty reasons

Short on seasoned,

Most hardly worth

A laudable hurrah…

Though on occasion

Did youth follies

Incite horrahs,

Wisdom did suffer

Urge such jollies

Of youth’s ways,

The while inspired

By its short stays,

Alas our desires,

Saw a last hurrah

Find its merry way!
