“ In Whom We Trust ” – a pledge unyielding –

We’ll spend much of our life

Believing we’ve support,

Even who be cause of strife

And others who purport,

Want offer pledge unyielding

Yet fail recognize distort,

Despite discernable unfeeling

Considers ‘tis of import,

With a pledge ne’er fulfillable

Bidden by beguiling sort,

For if be trust ill affordable

Best one accepts negate,

That faux devotees find hide

In a dark they generate,

Till they detect credulous side

Of dim trust to postulate,

Would ne’er need don disguise

As sad side of man’s make,

Be ample cover for shady side…

Alas what trust you had,

Bore soon be brushed aside

Save be for those at ease,

With deceitful vow devised

May for a time succeed,

As a perceived guile denies

The false of it bares rust,

For held karma take a stand

On sham assured commit,

Yet ‘tis far from wonderland

Pledge adamant be must,

Tho man ne’er understands

Yet deigns find a love lost,

In a pledge but second hand

While one must learn to trust!

“ I Want To Tell ” ~ of things that sing ~

I want to tell

Of time that brings,

An early spring

Restoring life

To summer brooks,

Of twisting ripples

Through shady nooks…

I want to tell

Of stars that twinkle

In your eyes

As you allow a smile

Replace a shy disguise,

More than a while…

I want to tell

About the wind

That plays in trees,

To kiss the leaves,

That flutter slightly

In its gentle breeze…

I want to tell

Of things on wings,

Said butterflies

Will decorate the skies,

Be nature’s doing

Hence until they die…

I want to tell

Of bumblebees,

Bumbling leisurely

As summer plies,

Its mellow zephyr

In nature’s dance,

Till autumn requires …

I want to tell

Of things that sing,

The while you live

With love to give,

May spare a mind

Of man’s made hell,

A world we can but find!

“ The Façade ” ~ of a smile ~

He wears a smile

Save no surprise,

If but the while

He means to hide,

His shaded guile

Woefully apprised,

In a conjured façade…

He has known wile

In angst of sorrow,

More than enough

To find not borrow,

He’d known tears

Gathered for years

Beyond subsides,

Rendered invasive

To the outer side,

Of harbouring mazes…

Thus the façade

Blurred in guises,

Holds few surprises

Be joy or sadness

That smiles disguise,

Alas but for appearance!

“ A Form ” ~ not the norm ~

I see a form

Rise,

Lifting upward

In disguise,

Tho not the norm

Can but surmise,

This giant butterfly

Just barely born

To suffer such a size,

Said dinosaurian wings

Be excesses I do see,

In a world now on the brim

Man’s antics caused it be!

The Mask

– a place to hide –

The Mask

         – a place to hide –

You now find
Need to hide,
Where time
Sets disguise,
Be the mask
Fits façade,
Meant to hold
Live inside,
There be bold
Reinventing
Fatiguing soul,
Best obscured
In the interim,
One ways discern
Thence half alive,
To suffer return
Elude hell’s burn
In this interval bide,
Held a place to hide!

“ Labels ” ~ of design fables ~

Labels

Of design fables

Be latent oubliettes,

To cover flaws

Meant to forget,

Thin façades

Fixed to disguise,

The reality

Of devious wise,

Designed to cover

Their obvious lies…

Free-ride labels

You’re but lags,

Sad symbolic tags

That camouflage,

To validate

Your trendy state

Less than able,

Left to hide

In shadows

Of deceptive labels!
