“ The Boy ” ~ who wanted to stay ~

There was a boy

Said ever glad,

For animate joy

Save he felt sad,

Its adolesce span

Exacts but a fad,

Be that so it may

Fix boy to be man,

He’d bid afar day

From stripling state,

That inevitable way

To descry adulthood,

Toward destined fate

Binds resolute say,

Held misnomer depth

Of ending youth’s stay,

He’d pursue cheat its death!

“ The Have and The Have Naught ” ~ be life’s comedy ~

The have naught, ebb

With life a tragedy,

Trapped in a web

Of apathetic reality,

Man will so scheme

Endemic of betrayal,

To attain his means…

Ergo haves, we may agree

Live pithily said comedy,

For they especially

Of careless objectivity,

Destine their domain

In animate fantasy,

Suffering not inequity

The while feign humane!

“ Hue and Cry ” ~ issue of man inhumane ~

I can but agonize

To suffer hear,

The hue and cry

Of ill-fated fear,

Held to defeat

Alas for naught,

By callous minds

Who would deny,

One having sought

Humane recognition,

In effort to attain

For animate self,

Yet made bear pain

While greed feigns blind,

To disperse its stain

From ill gotten gain,

Issue of man inhumane!
