“ A Mind Above ” ~ inhuman anguish ~

Wouldst thou allow

A man succumb,

To inhuman anguish

And suffer numb,

In state diminished

Fellowman forsaken,

Yet detectable signs

Of viable resolve,

Remain ignored

By we of mind above…

Whom have we become,

Who chose be indifferent

To inhuman anguish!

ode to man’s evolution gone amiss…

“ Man’s Hold ” ~ means to be fed ~

A singular being
Akin to whole,
Who so composed
Said worthy soul,
Be for man’s hold
Who means be fed
Criteria set at gold,
What he inclines,
Wouldst so conjure
His bidding designs,
So with wile he lures
A yet fallible mind,
However be times
Anguish will sway,
Doubt finds its way
To a vibrant head,
Where fate declines!

“ Reflections ” ~ in a changing eye ~

I still see clearly

The laughter

In her eyes,

Oft times

Meant but to hide

The anguish

Felt inside,

Or hold back

A mother’s tears

When in its stead

A warm embrace

Would take the place…

The while unknown

Her sheep said black,

Set to make tracks

Upon a world untried,

He’d soon discern

Life’s perilous facts,

Bids not an easy ride…

When he awakens

To look back

On years ago,

The lines of colour

Have so blurred,

He barely sees

The faded image,

For what he’d lived,

Be but reflections

Left in a changing eye,

Time now finds to obscure!

“ Solaris ” ~ in shades abyss ~

Sun must be shy

As he’ll not look

Me in the eye,

Nor will he soar

As had before,

We ruined his sky…

He may ne’er more

Want light our way,

We who fouled

His heaven’s air,

Spewing waste

Corrupting space,

Once known safe

In a world gone grey,

As Solaris fades away…

Alas the keepers

Have ignored,

Desperate shouts

Of world untoward,

Solaris suffers

Shades abyss,

Thus can but move

To light another place,

Leaving shadows

Till dark be  fate,

Would end mankind

Starved of Solaris face!
