Et pas facile
À la portée, 
D’un imbécile
Tout écarté,
Surtout pénible
À supporter, 
Et pas visible  
Si embrouillé,
Fut impossible
Dans ses pensées,
Reste difficile
De s’en débarrasser,
Or si la terre
Était carrée,
On ne pourrait 
Tourner en rond,
Alors fort mieux 
Qu’elle ne soit ronde,
Ainsi pour gens curieux
Car Cicéron c’est Poincaré!

Human Fear

  – the sum of us all –

It’s ne’er so clear
What life became,
From human fear
Ran we in shame,
Forced us to hear
Fails ye fit frame,
Fate set be yours 
Endured unclear
To face seen war,                                
Thru human fear                                  
Served as before,        
In its bad dreams
Not to keep score, 
Seeks thus to bail,
Preferred unseen
Holds being frail,
The sum of us all
You will find fail,
Said a human fear
When once aware,
Of eternal scheme
Tho ne’er be clear,
Parades as a dream!

Yet of no say
Best to seek, 
A kindly day
Evades bleak, 
For the while
Life has ye be,
In need of smile
To maybe see,
If not to hear
Hint of sound,
Suggests know
Won’t confound,
With not to show
Nor will respond,
Save to oneself,
As for the while
Be good or bad,
Without beguile
That ye’ve found,
Will go the mile
Or way around,
In the time it takes
While above ground,
For a life’s short state,
Man termed, the while!

Roaming the universe
The gods created man,
From an extant dream
Did as best as one can,
When they did deem
With indefinite assess,
Of an ascribed reality
They saw a reflection,
Celebrant to decadent
Wonders be of whom,
Exacts such perception
Would see fit to bloom,
With power that reigns
Realized so quite soon, 
Ye gods need predestine
That wills mortal in tune,
Tho ne’er quite sustained 
Psyche resources insufficient,
Find judge mankind constrains
With destructiveness ever persistent,
Had created man’s brain, sized as a grain!

                  – may yet survive –





There is an adage
Often uttered,
Said ‘Man Alive’ 
Tho but baggage
Holds to derive,
Stead reflexive
In situate surprised, 
Ne’er unpleasant
Nor otherwise,
A creature planetary
Without saying, 
Thus, so born
An evolutive reality,
Should find decide
For better or for worse,
A disposition to abide
Despite fit or adverse, 
Recognise Man Alive 
Be beyond converse,
That he may yet survive!


              Ode to the expression,
                           "Man Alive" as an adage...
