Another Face

           – holds persistent

Wouldst expect live
From child unclad,
To babbles’ demise
Beyond level of sad,
Save coherent wise
Who appear to add,
Purpose comprised
Of a raison d’être,
Afore another face
Need not be a fête,
In spell given hand
Occupies life space,
Thus, living the race,
That says you’re alive
Best before final date,
Ye so drag to survive
Find delay grave fate,
May not end so brave
When be made to face,
Despite eke of last steps
You will do so with grace,
The while holds persistent
Be too soon for another face!

A Face

-in final phase –

A face now deeply lined,
Even shade will not pale
To lessen relentless time,
Praying on it being frail
With an unrelenting seep,
Begs fix like clefts in haze
To delay degenerating creep,
While be, a face in final phase!

	         Ode to a faceless reality...

A Face

       – ye gods won’t tend –

Too soon alas to follow
Hints of imposing lines,
Tho not quite shallow
Until life speaks of time,
Thus, faint in shadows
Be borne so penned,
You may find hollow
Holding fate’s dead end,
Meant to tell of life journey
On a face ye gods won’t tend!

Who Will Know

            – the road –

Who will know
When we arrive,
The road to go
To thus survive,
As fellow human
Found yet alive,
Knowing naught
Of who we follow,
Did find bestow
But dubious plan,
For a life hollow
We naïvely accept,
Tho so contrived
As inimical deed,
The likes devised
By powers of greed,
We’d failed advise
Be iniquitous mislead!

Listening

       – be not hearing –

One may hear words
He’d want find bold,
Be bordering absurd
Decries nervous soul,
Fortuitously blurred
Of insignificant dole,
Be il facilely heeding
For a fit tenuous droll,
Appear as not hearing
Will have taken its toll,
Despite ye be listening
To words fits not whole...

Sets thy thoughts pacific
That of tranquil insisting,
Tho find lack of specific
Thus, focus but on living,
As constant ethnographic
Finds carry on persisting,
So pass on bent spasmodic
For listening be not hearing!

		Ode to thinking man...

A Little More Time

A Little More Time

 – if but to mark mine –

A little more time
To recall a mood
I’d left behind,
When early in life
If but mark mine,
To allow for strife …

A little more time
To live with candour,
Discover my other,
Whom I’d forsaken
In visions of grandeur…

A little more time
To shake free of talk
That life offers blindly,
Overriding the clock…

A little more time
To share a measure
Of neglected kindness,
And taste the pleasure
Of compassionateness…

A little more time
To recapture the scent
Of evocative memories,
With all of their follies
Life chose to be meant
If need be to mark mine!

A Bridge

– by the way home –

Le Pont du Diable… The Devil’s Bridge… Fr.

A Bridge

– by the way home –

I’ve long roamed
Where gods play,
Enchanting Rome
To Tuscany’s day,
By the way home...

I hold the memory
Of insistent places,
Has ye transformed
Afore its life passes,
Find a bridge known,
As by the way home!

A Face

  • – in morrow’s space –
Tho near impossible to climb
Finding the image of her face,
That meant will form in time
A face, be from an awry place,
Has thus but aging to define
To hold in morrow’s space,
For a visage fixed sublime
Be set as tho a part effaced,
In a façade in need to find
Be of memory ye do prize,
With its recall of total bind
Thus, so more than surmised,
From a failed god’s ambuscade
Who’d long forgotten to be wise,
Till such shenanigans he displayed,
To a face in morrows’ space implied
Yet not his play, tho but of nature’s say!
                    Imaging mans’ unconsciousness toward reality...

Wanting

– to be heard –

Pictured without sound
Tho can see be awaken,
As gyrations abound
With spirited dysfunction,
Postures visibly found
In logic for malfunction,
Tells ye want to be heard
Baring ludicrous emotions,
Will use an extant voice
Thus, to bid without a word,
Might find to last forever
While given to be heard,
Hence in an unfettered world!

The Day

The Day

       – that was –

The day
Set as was,
Did have a play
Despite faux pas,
Would find a way
Bearing the cause,
Of one’s living stay
Thus, to make room,
For a fated new day
Fixed next to come,
And find its allay
Hence while alone,
Will not be at bay
Tho set afar home,
Holds shy of say
Had need to roam,
Implied being alive
For allotted time,
Be ne’er very long
Ye will soon find,
The day long gone
Next to be, that was!
