Wanting
– to know why –
Would it matter, Wanting To know why, If one didn’t Get an answer, Having thought To wonder, Ought question Mental wrought, Find whether Trouble ought, Tho no longer Above water, While persists Probe forever, One considers Being clever, Mightn’t ever Learn reply, Wanting To know why, Best be left Without an answer!

Yes, some things are best left unanswered.
I agree wholeheartedly, Paulette!
And I in return echo my sentiments to you, Rebecca,
Seems we are of the same mind, though no surprise, after all these years supporting each other’s opinions. Thanks Paulette!
Grateful for those years of connection with you. And Rebecca.
“Why” is one of the most powerful words in any language because it opens us to exploration, ignites our curiosity, and sometimes lands us in a heap of trouble. Even so, it seems that “why” gives us permission to be human, to acknowledge that some whys cannot be fathomed at that moments. And some “whys” can turn into “why not.” A great poem, Jean-Jacques. As always you keep us thinking!!
Pleased that you picked up on why, a circular word so to speak, thus so because of how you quite interestingly and analytically point out. It has such a variety of applications including at times of a most frustrating nature, when it is used as a stall or to get out of committing to a difficult decision. Thanks again Rebecca!
I always enjoy our conversations.
