“ Inadvertency ”

– a lapse of memory –

 Mindful, be unforeseen
 That memories will fail,
 Hopeful not to extreme
 For fear of minds derail,
 In a posit made sombre
 Thus be forever fraught,
 From a lapse of memory
 Errant as to be brought,
 By its narrated stumble
 Be of words gone awash,
Has one in a new bubble
 Giving notions to curse,
 Aired not as a mumble
 Views now but adverse,
Left to exist in a jumble...

 ‘Tis sad state of decline
 All the while you watch,
 Feel its thought melting
 As a reoccurred botch,
 That a word will mend
 Holds cause be reborn,
 Extant failure finds end
 Tho ye suffer self scorn,
 Despite held to append...

 Whilst pained to so find
 An apprise of words lost,
 Tells of old fails conveyed
 Wants inadvertency tossed!

                       ode to over worked minds...

“ A Space ” – held in awe, be our planet earth –

                                  Listen to audio

A Space

– held in awe,

be our planet earth –

 ‘Tis a space,
 Held in awe
 Our planet earth,
 A place we crave
 Thus so we may,
 From birth to grave
 Tho be fates play,
 One you can’t save
 Nor meant we stay,
 On its passing wave
 We’ll not want stray
 Tho holds your breath,
 With its waning taste
 Wouldst suffer death,
 To extend embrace...
 Held in veiled guise,
 Tho bares one’s face
 Who finds will hide,
 Said man’s disgrace
 And denigrating bide,
 Of our earthly prize,
 Whilst apathetically
 Man in kind deface,
 To discombobulate
 Our memory’s state,
 Tho while held in awe
 Insentient of its worth,
 Denies many having place
For all to be on planet earth!

Distant Faces

            – etched on my mind –

 There are traces
 From prior times,
 Of distant faces
 Etched on my mind,
 That stay forever
 Hence so adorn,
 A place of musing
 Where past ground,
 Be worth pursuing
 Tho but a semblance,
 Might now be found…

 As memories falter
 Thus in mind’s eye,
 Imaginings alter
 And fall beyond,
 Familiar places
 Of aging optimism,
 In mature zeal
 Be timeless isms,
 Scarcely notes real
 With fading traces,
 Of now distant faces…

 Tho wishful thinking
 Could yet show trace,
 That offers an inkling
 Alludes to per chance,
 A faint hint of passing
 Mightn’t ye remember,
 Enough of such places
 May outlive December,
 Has ye find the more,
 Of now held distant faces!

“ Vertical Imbroglio ” – a shadow state –

Listen to audio

“ Vertical Imbroglio ”

– a shadow state –

I reach ahead

Haltingly so,

As I prepare

To step alas,

Beyond length

It takes to pass,

A prior stride

Repairs behind,

In effort guide

A next in kind,

Repeats to bide,

Thus so I sense

May tend to slide,

As if said motion

Would so impair,

To suffer notions

Of a lost equilibrium…

While tho awake,

I envisage myself

Inhabiting a place,

Of vertical imbroglio

As a shadow state,

Steps be but echoes

In an outer mind

Suggesting guise,

We’re to accept

Its bogus disguise,

Tho manipulated

By what’s left alive,

And still humanlike

Despite emotive pries…

Hence be sagacious

Attempt at realism,

Imbroglio’s shadow

State imaging façade,

Said of bemused reality,

The while life’s demise

Be destined irrevocably,

Tho holds mans laudable prize!

“ They Walk Alone ” in a faceless world –

Listen to audio

“ They Walk Alone ”

             – in a faceless world –

 They walk alone
 On crowded streets,
 These vacant beings
 Suffering defeat,
 Trudging on feelings
 Found bittersweet,
 Despite bewilderment
 Held negated souls,
 In constant lament
 For the cadence holds,
The bulk of a life spent
 On their weary feet,
 As human refuse
 On a deathly beat,
 Who seek refuge
 In a mingy world replete…

 Routed in despair
 Most lay in wait,
 For their decay
 To transfer hells,
 While with false hope
 These human shells,
 Pray fate awakes
 Would thus impel,
 And so reach out
 Hence fore too late,
 When they’ll arrived
 At fated final hell,
 Yet so to walk alone
 Thus in a faceless world!

                 A nudge on today’s world...
