Short ….5 lines, you could have made a limerick….to wit:
The Sage of Sweetsburg asking meekly,
who’s value he questioned almost weekly,
by saying these words,
which were utterly absurd,
that most honourable Sage of Sweetsburg.
Thank you John, a poet in the making ye be. You believe absurd questioning one’s thought as a result of the influence of someone else’s thought…? Sage of Sweetsburg has a nice ring to it, but I shall never be sufficiently sage to not be at times influenced by others, when I discover their thought makes more sense than mine. At any rate I thank your encouraging words as well as yourcomposition! Jean-Jacques Fournier
