I’ve looked back
At my surrounds,
And growing years
Hence to feel bound,
Need look again
As seems back then,
I’ve thin account
Of beauty all about
As though allure
Had been left out,
Thru failed record
On matters worth
Meant to absorb,
Yet angst insists
Ne’er be too late,
Want fixing now
To look at what I see…
Who could have known best
What beauty life held see,
Without we knew thus to invest,
That made us look at what we see!
ode to the in-depth beauty
of natures creativity!
Who could have known, indeed!! A beautiful way to start my day.
Thank you Rebecca! It is an old thought that has lingered on my mind since the first time I took care, and an in-depth interest to truly look at what I saw. That being the beautiful intricacies of the flower, held by my intricate hand, thus to open my intricate eyes to the beauty of natures intricate beauty. What a gift!

Such a beautiful ode to nature and yes, it’s never too late for appreciation of same. Lovely.
Thanks Paulette, and absolutely, it’s never too late… to rejoice in the beauty this world continues to provide. Jean-Jacques
