You’ll find a bend
In the road ahead,
Should you intend
Muse in its stead,
Thus so to ponder
If you have stock,
Suffice grants a stay
Affords a fading clock,
Extends reach yonder…
If fate finds lend
This road gives way,
To live beyond
Prescribed advent,
Thinks worth amend
To this found journey,
Held a memorable stay
Though an hour or a day,
Portend shades of an instant!
Ah yes, the benediction of that new journey. What a joy. Lovely.
Thanks Paulette… Yes benediction, as in gratitude or thankfulness, or acknowledgement… that works for me. A new journey or a new wiser phase of the existing one, when you now actually find deep pleasure in smelling those wild flowers and tasting that country rain. Jean-Jacques
Yes, lovely.
The journey is before us, and the bend in the road beckons us come hither….
There is always adventure waiting for us.
For me without it would be a living death… if one can imagine this tableau! Jean-Jacques
