“ A Distant Voice ” ~ that beckons ~

I hear a cry

Tormented so,

Tears by the by

Do leave a wake

Of such dismay,

Mind has need

To find a way,

If but to still

A distant voice,

Whose forlorn cry

Allays not beckon,

Into the night

Its waning words

In dismal plight,

Wants restore whole

Thus begs relight,

Man’s dark lost soul!

“ Tolerance ” ~ beyond limit ~

You aspired listen

To words true

Of assured veracity,

But what you hear

Be voice at odds,

Self-served askew

In object wanting,

That extends far

Of wisdom’s reach,

While our elect

Said meagre choice,

Of dubious advocate

Adversely foists,

Erroneous postulates

On beings hopeful,

Held beyond limit

Of noetic tolerance!

“ Every Road ” ~ a reinvention ~

Every road taken

Kindles desire,

Of maturate daring

Destiny inspires,

Held life reinventing,

Tho countless roads

Oft-times shadowed

By clouds of undoing,

Man’s inner-child begs

For ways to discern

Every road said,

Wouldst find reinvention!

“ A Lazy Winter Day ” ~ drizzly and grey ~

It’s a lazy winter’s day

Drizzly and grey,

Abiding bedims’ tune,

Bordering on gloom

Of short winter days,

And gusty afternoons

That begs for sunshine

Ever gone too soon,

As if forced to decline

Behind a wistful moon,

Frustrating sun’s way

Arresting its warm boon,

On a lazy winter’s day!

“ Exploitation ” ~ advent to lament ~

You’re of a mind

Life starts betwixt,

Somewhere in time

And place defined

Where being exists,

In advent reached

Of evolutionary feel,

Where light gives sway

To ontogenetic mind

Would recognize real,

To but later lament

Man fails realize,

Exploited be his demise!
