Said daily bread
Give us this day,
Tho I’ve fine gueule
Sufficient to say,
Not ate but read
Of present state,
Be that its stead
On its way down,
Suffering be fed
By venal clowns,
Meant so sustain
Chose status quo
Of vanquished lot,
Hanging its claim
On shovelled rot,
Will too soon learn
Be but a thwarting plot!
This requests correct an auto correction error, on third line, showing fin guile instead of ‘fine gueule’ meaning fine palate as in appreciation of good food. Jean-Jacques Fournier
